Gold prices rise by Rs1700 per tola in Pakistan - check new rates
Gold prices continue to rise in both local and worldwide markets, with the per tola rate of yellow metal rising by Rs5900 on Monday.
According to data released by the Saraffa Association, the price of gold per tola climbed by Rs5,900 to close at Rs353,100.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs5,058, to Rs302,726.

On Monday, the worldwide gold rate rose by $59 to $3,347 per ounce, with a $20 premium, according to APGJSA.
Market observers credit the spike in gold prices to increased global demand and persistent economic uncertainty, which normally drive investors to precious metals as safe-haven investments.
