A 36-year-old OnlyFans model from Nottinghamshire, Clara Wilson, is facing serious legal trouble in Spain after she was caught with a large amount of cannabis at Barcelona’s El Prat Airport. The arrest took place on January 20, 2025, as she arrived on a Qatar Airways flight from Doha.
Authorities say Clara had 34 kilos of cannabis hidden in her luggage. The packages were found vacuum-sealed inside two suitcases. The drugs are said to be worth up to £200,000 on the black market. After her arrest, Clara was taken into custody and is now being held at a prison near Barcelona. No trial date has been confirmed yet.
According to court documents, Spanish prosecutors are seeking a four-year prison sentence and a fine of £758,000. If Clara fails to pay the fine, she could face an extra six months in jail. The drugs were tested and confirmed by Spain’s National Toxicology Institute. The indictment alleges Clara intended to sell the cannabis in Spain.
Clara is originally from Huthwaite, Nottinghamshire, and was traveling from Bangkok, with layovers in India and Qatar, before landing in Barcelona. Authorities believe the drugs were being smuggled for illegal sale in Europe.

Other British Women Facing Drug Charges Abroad
Clara is not the only British woman currently facing drug-related charges overseas. Three more young British women are also in serious trouble.
Bella May Culley
Bella, 18, was arrested in Georgia on May 11, 2025, after arriving from Thailand. She was detained at Tbilisi Airport, and now faces the possibility of a life sentence if found guilty of drug smuggling. Her family had earlier reported her missing in Thailand.
Charlotte May Lee
Charlotte, 21, was arrested the very next day on May 12 in Sri Lanka, also after arriving from Thailand. Authorities say they found cannabis worth £1.2 million in her luggage at Bandaranaike International Airport. Charlotte has denied knowing about the drugs.
Isabella Daggett
Isabella, 21, is currently locked up in a prison in Dubai. She was arrested in March this year, just five weeks after she moved to the UAE for a job in recruitment. Her family says she is innocent and was caught up in someone else’s wrongdoing. Her grandmother, Heather Smith, told reporters that Isabella hasn’t even been allowed to change clothes or shower since being jailed.
All four women deny the charges against them. Their families are hoping for fair trials and a safe return home.
