LIVE Hajj 2025: Sheikh Dr. Saleh bin Humaid Delivers Arafat Sermon at Masjid al-Namirah
Imam of Masjid al-Haram and a member of the Saudi Council of Senior Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah bin Humaid in his Hajj 2025 sermon prayed for the destruction of enemies of Palestine.
Sheikh Saleh urged the believers to fear Allah and always maintain piety. He said that piety is a sign of true faith. Allah has commanded all people to avoid forbidden actions and to follow the teachings of Islam closely. He reminded everyone that doing good deeds brings happiness in this world and a beautiful home in the hereafter.
The Imam emphasized that modesty is part of faith. He spoke about kindness to parents, honesty, and keeping promises as essential parts of being a true believer. He called on people to worship Allah alone and never associate partners with Him. He also asked the crowd to treat orphans, the poor, and neighbors with respect and kindness.
Sheikh Saleh warned that Satan wants to create hatred between people. He reminded that Satan is the enemy of humans from the beginning. The Imam encouraged the pilgrims to stop evil in good ways so that even enemies could become friends.
He explained that Allah promises more blessings to those who are grateful. He also stressed the importance of keeping promises and being patient. Allah’s pleasure is greater than paradise itself. True believers live in peace and follow the right path.
Sheikh Saleh called on everyone to believe in Allah as the Creator and Lord. He told the pilgrims to fear Allah’s punishment and seek help from Him. Belief in the holy books and all prophets is a key part of faith. The Imam explained that on the Day of Judgment, people will be judged for paradise or hell, and that belief in destiny means accepting Allah’s prior plan.
He reminded everyone not to spread corruption on earth. Hajj is obligatory for those who can afford it. He encouraged faith in the Day of Judgment and explained that charity should help the poor, travelers, and those in debt.
Sheikh Saleh said fasting is mandatory, and all worship belongs to Allah alone. No prophet or saint is worthy of worship. Only Allah can remove all hardships. He also mentioned that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is mentioned in previous holy scriptures.
At the end of the sermon, the Imam prayed for safety and protection. He asked Allah to protect homes and the nation. Most importantly, he prayed for Palestine. He asked Allah to help the brothers in Palestine, forgive the martyrs, heal the wounded, and destroy the enemies who kill innocent children.
