Meghan Markle’s Hospital Dance Video amid pregnancy sparks controversy

Meghan Markle has once again found herself at the center of controversy after posting a video featuring herself and Prince Harry dancing in a hospital room during her pregnancy with their daughter, Princess Lilibet.

The video, shared by Meghan on social media, shows her in a black nightgown twerking while Prince Harry joins her in casual attire—jeans and a grey hoodie. The clip, which was filmed four years ago during her labor, was meant to be light-hearted. However, it quickly stirred debate online.

In her caption, Meghan wrote: “Four years ago today, this also happened. Both of our children were a week overdue, so when spicy food, all that walking, and acupuncture didn’t work—there was only one thing left to do!”

While many fans praised the video as playful and relatable, royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams criticized the couple. Speaking to The Express, he said:
“When I first saw the video of a heavily pregnant Meghan and Harry twerking, I assumed her Instagram had been hacked. I thought it was a spoof.”

He added that although Meghan has the right to share personal moments, the public is also entitled to react.
“How much less royal can you get? She was clearly a poor fit for royal life, and it didn’t take long for that to become apparent,” he remarked.
