Punjab Budget for Fiscal Year 2025-26 to Be Presented on June 13

The Punjab budget for the fiscal year 2025-26 is scheduled to be presented on Friday, June 13.

According to the details, the Finance Department has submitted a proposal to convene the Punjab Assembly’s budget session on June 13.

Punjab Finance Minister Mian Mujtaba Shujaur Rehman will present the provincial budget.

Meanwhile, the Sindh government has announced that it will present the budget for the upcoming fiscal year 2025-26 on the same date.

A three-day meeting chaired by Provincial Minister for Planning and Development Nasir Shah finalized the budget proposals.

The development budget for 57 provincial departments and autonomous bodies has been set at Rs 600 billion.

The proposed allocations include Rs 13 billion for agriculture, Rs 8 billion for school education, Rs 4 billion for forestry, and Rs 51 billion for health.
