Field Marshal Asim Munir to Meet US President Donald Trump at White House Today

US President Donald Trump is set to meet with Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir today.

According to a statement from the White House spokesperson, President Trump will host Field Marshal Asim Munir for lunch on Wednesday.

The White House announced that the lunch will take place in the Cabinet Room at 1 PM Washington time, which will be evening in Pakistan.

The gathering will also include DG ISI Lieutenant General Asim Malik, DG Military Operations, the Pakistani Ambassador, and members of the US President’s cabinet.

This meeting comes at a time when Pakistan has openly expressed its support for Iran amid the ongoing Iran-Israel conflict.
