Pakistan Condemns Israeli Aggression on Iran, Calls for Peace in Region

Pakistan condemns rising Islamophobia and muslim rights abuses in India
Pakistan has strongly condemned Israeli attacks on Iran and expressed deep concern over the recent developments in the region. During a weekly press briefing, Foreign Office spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan said Pakistan shares a brotherly relationship with Iran and is closely watching the situation.
He mentioned that Iran has had a long-standing cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), and there has been no indication that Iran plans to stop this cooperation. He also clarified that Pakistan has not received any official request from Iran for help with refugees or military assistance.
Khan urged the public to be careful while using social media, as it often spreads misinformation. He said that while social platforms help share news quickly, they can also cause panic if false information is circulated.
On Pakistan’s position, the spokesperson said it is clear and firm. Pakistan stands against Israeli aggression and supports regional peace and stability. He emphasized that Pakistan values its close ties with Iran and will always support peace efforts in the region.
Khan also criticized India’s new regulations in Ladakh. He said the actions violate United Nations resolutions and international laws regarding the disputed territory of Kashmir. Pakistan has demanded that India immediately withdraw these measures.
Lastly, he appreciated the United States for playing a helpful role in reducing tensions between Pakistan and India, calling their involvement positive and clear.
