Finance Bill for New Fiscal Year Gets Cabinet Approval

Islamabad: The federal cabinet has approved the finance bill for the new fiscal year.

The federal cabinet meeting was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in which the cabinet approved the Finance Bill (Budget) with amendments.

The federal cabinet also approved amendments to some laws in principle; however, those amendments have been sent to the cabinet’s legislative committee.

In addition, the cabinet decided that a committee would also be formed regarding a gas agenda that would present its proposals to the Supreme Court.
