8171 Portal July 2025: Check Your BISP Payment Status

The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) has upgraded its 8171 web portal as of July 2025, making it easier than ever to check payment status and eligibility. This update is especially useful for individuals looking for clear, fast information about their financial aid.

What is the 8171 Web Portal?

The 8171 portal is an official BISP platform that helps users check their CNIC status, payment details, and eligibility for the Benazir Kafalat and Ehsaas programs. You can now also submit complaints or update your information directly through the site.

New Features in July 2025 Update:

The portal now offers:

• Higher payments: Eligible families can now receive up to Rs. 14,500
• A stronger captcha system for better security
• Language options including Urdu, Sindhi, and Pashto
• A mobile-friendly layout, ideal for seniors and rural users
• Regional rollout starting July 1 in major cities

Why Use the Portal?

While the old SMS method (“Send CNIC to 8171”) is still active, the web portal gives real-time payment status, amount, and the next disbursement date. It also allows users to submit complaints online, offering more transparency and control.

How to Check Payment Status:

A. Web Method:

1. Visit 8171.bisp.gov.pk
2. Enter your 13-digit CNIC
3. Solve the captcha
4. Click “Submit” or “Maloom Karen”
5. See status like “Not eligible” or “Rs. 14,500 scheduled”

B. SMS Method:

1. Send your 13-digit CNIC to 8171
2. Receive an SMS reply with your current status

C. Tehsil Office Visit:
Visit a BISP or Tehsil office to check your record in person.

Eligibility Criteria for July 2025 BISP Payment:

• Monthly income under Rs. 50,000
• Valid CNIC
• No high-value assets or government job
• Low PMT (poverty) score
• Biometric verification required

Payments are typically issued to women heading the household under the Benazir Kafalat scheme.

Payment Collection Options:

Once marked “Ready,” payments can be collected via:

• BISP biometric campsites
• HBL and Bank Alfalah ATMs
• Retailers like HBL Konnect

Bring your original CNIC and verify with your fingerprint.
