Fazlur Rehman Announces March to Islamabad, Calls for Revolution

Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has sharply criticized the government and announced that the JUI movement is about to begin, the nation should be ready to march towards Islamabad, and the time has come to bring about revolutionary change within Pakistan.

Addressing the Sha’a’ir-e-Islam Conference in Battagram, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that today’s grand gathering is proof that the people stand by the JUI.

He made it clear that the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam will bring about a revolution in Pakistan and continue its efforts for national unity.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman further said that we are peaceful people, but we should not be forced to occupy Islamabad. We are the people who defeated a global power like America; we will struggle for the survival and reform of the country while living within the framework of the constitution and law.

The JUI chief said that the country is being taken away from the constitutional boundaries, and according to him, we will become a leaden wall against those elements who want to derail the country from the constitutional track. We will move forward and bring about a real revolution within Pakistan.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman, while addressing the West, raised the question of why there is no ceasefire in Palestine. When Iran responded to Israel, it was immediately said that a ceasefire should be declared.

He further said that when the Pakistan Army gave a befitting reply to India, Trump requested a ceasefire. Muslims were massacred in Iraq, Palestine, Syria, Afghanistan, and Libya, and then no one talked about peace.

Criticizing the country’s politics, he said that we do not recognize any government without the people. We did not allow the previous government to function, nor will we allow the current government to function. Such governments never succeed without the support of the people. The decision should be the people’s, and it should be recognized.

Addressing the workers, he said that JUI workers will now be in the field of action, and success will be our destiny. Those who are in power today do not have political consciousness, they have proven to be completely blind in political terms.

Regarding the merger of FATA, he said that the merger of FATA with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was a unilateral and unwise decision. The tribal people are unhappy with it, and today they themselves have been regretting this decision. I had raised written questions on this merger, which were ignored.
