UAE increases petrol prices for July 2025 – Check new rates

Petrol rates likely to rise again as govt plans new levy
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced new petrol and diesel prices for July 2025, and all fuel types are now more expensive than last month.
The price hike comes after global oil prices jumped earlier in June due to rising tensions in the Middle East. A conflict between Iran and Israel led to higher oil prices, which spiked even more when the US carried out strikes on nuclear sites in Tehran. After that, oil prices briefly dropped following a ceasefire announcement by Donald Trump, but the market remained unstable.
Due to this global oil price volatility, the UAE government decided to raise local fuel prices for July.
Here are the new fuel prices in the UAE starting from July 1, 2025:
Fuel Type | July Price (Dh/litre) | June Price (Dh/litre) | Increase |
---|---|---|---|
Super 98 | 2.70 | 2.58 | +0.12 |
Special 95 | 2.58 | 2.47 | +0.11 |
E-Plus 91 | 2.51 | 2.39 | +0.12 |
Diesel | 2.63 | 2.45 | +0.18 |
It’s important to know that the UAE government updates fuel prices every month based on international oil trends to keep the market aligned with global rates.
So, from July 1, 2025, residents in the UAE will have to pay more at the pump for both petrol and diesel.
