Honda CD 70, CG 125, Pridor new prices in Pakistan after tax hike - July 2025
Motorcycle users in Pakistan have received another shock as Atlas Honda has increased the prices of its popular bikes following the imposition of a carbon levy on imported motorcycle engines in the new Budget 2025–26.
The price hike affects both entry-level and premium models. Here’s a quick look at the new prices from July 1:
Model | New Price (Rs.) | Increase (Rs.) |
---|---|---|
Honda CD 70 | 159,900 | 2,000 |
CD 70 Dream | 170,900 | 2,000 |
Honda Pridor | 211,900 | 3,000 |
CG 125 | 238,900 | 4,000 |
CG 125 Self-Start | 286,900 | 4,000 |
CG 125s Gold | 296,900 | 4,000 |
CB 125F | 396,900 | 6,000 |
CB 150F | 499,900 | 6,000 |
CB 150F Special Edition | 503,900 | 6,000 |
This price increase is a major setback for working-class people, especially those who depend on bikes for daily commuting, deliveries, or business. With fuel prices also rising, owning and maintaining a bike is becoming harder for many.
Atlas Honda, which controls over half of the motorcycle market in Pakistan, plays a key role in personal transport. Many fear these hikes could make basic mobility unaffordable for low-income groups.
