On his part, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar stated that discussions were held regarding the establishment of a special economic zone for Turkish investors in Karachi, as well as the opening of Turkiye’s renowned Maarif Foundation schools in Azad Kashmir. He emphasized that Pakistan considers Turkiye a trusted friend and brotherly nation.

Dar further announced that meetings of defence-related committees between the two countries are scheduled for September. He noted that Pakistan and Turkiye are working closely through various joint committees across multiple sectors, and he appreciated Turkiye’s expertise in several fields.

Dar said the visit of Turkiye’s foreign and defence ministers reflects the depth of bilateral relations, which are reinforced by regular high-level exchanges.
