Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced a 90-day movement, declaring that it will be a do-or-die campaign. Whether they remain in power or not, it doesn’t matter — they will reach every corner of the country to mobilize the public.
Speaking at a press conference in Lahore alongside other PTI leaders, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur said that the founder of PTI has awakened the nation and talked about Pakistan’s freedom and sovereignty. He claimed that actions are still being taken against PTI, stating that no other political party has faced as much oppression. He added that cases are not being pursued against founder PTI because “there are no cases against him.”
The KP Chief Minister said that despite all the injustices the founder of PTI has faced, he has clearly stated that he is ready to negotiate for Pakistan’s sake — but only with those who actually hold power.
He further stated that the 90-day movement has already started from yesterday under the instructions of the founder of PTI, who will lead it himself. “We are bound by his directives and will take this movement to every street, alley, neighborhood, and city in Pakistan. We will carry out this campaign as a final battle, regardless of whether we remain in government or not.”
Ali Amin Gandapur emphasized that in these 90 days, the decision must be made whether or not politics will be allowed to continue in the country. “We do not accept their imposed timelines. We will determine our own course of action. We are fighting the battle for the people of Pakistan, but once again, a fascist campaign is being launched against us.”
