Korean actress Kang Seo-Ha passed away at the age of 31 after a long battle with cancer. The sad news was confirmed by local media on Sunday, July 14, 2025. According to reports, she died on the afternoon of July 13, during her second round of chemotherapy.

The news has deeply saddened fans and the South Korean entertainment industry. Kang Seo-Ha’s final project, Mangnaein (also known as In The Net), features her alongside popular stars Kim Seon-Ho and Park Gyu-Young.

A Quiet Fighter

Kang Seo-Ha had been suffering from cancer for a long time. Her condition worsened recently, and she was unable to recover after the second phase of her treatment. One of her close acquaintances shared her passing online and wrote an emotional message.

The post included a heartfelt video that showed some memories of Kang. Her friend wrote,

“I still can’t believe you’re gone, unnie. Even while suffering, you cared more about others. You always made sure I ate. You even paid with your own card when you couldn’t eat yourself.”

“You endured the pain with courage and still felt grateful. I feel ashamed. You were truly strong, and I hope you’re free from pain now.”

The touching tribute has been shared widely on social media.

Kang Seo-Ha’s Life and Work

Kang Seo-Ha was born in 1994. She studied at the Korea National University of Arts, where she focused on drama. She began her career in 2012 when she appeared in the music video Getting Farther Away by Brave Guys.

After that, she worked in several K-dramas and TV shows. Some of her notable appearances include:
