How to buy motorcycle under Punjab’s interest-free installment scheme 2025?

The Punjab government has launched a new phase of the Chief Minister Youth Program 2025, introducing an interest-free installment scheme to help students purchase electric and petrol motorcycles.

As part of the initiative, 20,000 bikes will be provided — including 1,000 electric bikes and 19,000 petrol bikes — through a zero-interest financing arrangement in collaboration with the Bank of Punjab.

Monthly installment plans begin as low as Rs7,325, making it easier for students across the province to access affordable and environmentally friendly transportation.

Installment Breakdown:

• Electric Bikes: Monthly payments will be under Rs10,000

• Petrol Bikes:

  • Female students: Rs7,325/month

  • Male students: Rs11,676/month

This program is designed to ease the financial burden on students while promoting the use of cleaner, more sustainable transport options.

Interest-Free Installment Scheme Criteria

Applicants must:

• Be at least 18 years old

• Be currently enrolled in an HEC-recognized university or college

• Possess a valid driving license or a learner’s permit

In case applications exceed the number of available bikes, a fair and transparent e-balloting process will be used to select recipients. Half of the bikes are reserved for female students to promote their mobility, safety, and participation in public life.

Motorcycles will be distributed in the cities of Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, and Bahawalpur.

With over 72,000 applications already submitted, students are advised to apply before the July 20 deadline via the official online portal or by visiting the nearest Bank of Punjab branch.
