NAB Launches Inquiry Against KP MPA Dr. Amjad Ali

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has launched an inquiry into assets beyond means against Dr. Amjad Ali, a member of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly from Swat.

According to NAB, Dr. Amjad Ali is accused of corruption, suspicious income, and corrupt practices and has served as the Chief Minister’s Special Assistant on Housing.

NAB ordered Dr. Amjad Ali to submit asset declaration forms, questionnaires, and income tax records from 2013 to the Peshawar office by July 17.

The notice issued by NAB stated that legal action will be taken for concealing or misrepresenting facts.

It should be noted that Dr. Amjad Ali, an independent member supported by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, was elected from the PK-7 constituency of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly.
