Humaira Asghar’s Parents Break Silence After Actress Found Dead in Karachi

Humaira Asghar, a well-known actress and model, was found dead in her Karachi apartment nearly nine months after her passing. The news shocked many and raised many questions about what happened to her.

Humaira’s parents recently spoke to Lahore Rang to share their side of the story. Her father, Dr. Asghar, said that Humaira was passionate about art and had studied at the National College of Arts (NCA). She moved to Karachi seven years ago to pursue a career in showbiz, and her parents supported her decision.

Humaira’s mother said she last spoke to her daughter in August of last year. During that call, Humaira told her that her SIM cards were being blocked and that she needed help, but she did not explain further. After that, the family lost contact with her.

The parents explained that they did not regularly check on Humaira because they do not know anyone in Karachi. Despite this, they had a good relationship and she used to visit them every two months.

Dr. Asghar denied rumors that they refused to claim Humaira’s body. As a doctor, he said he understands that the body cannot be released without a post-mortem examination. He suspects foul play in her death. He also mentioned that Humaira never asked for her share of the family property and said she would never do such a dishonest thing. According to him, she was financially stable and always paid her rent on time.
