AJK Follows Provinces in Increasing Govt Employee Allowances

Another piece of good news for government employees is that the Azad Kashmir government has approved a large allowance for them.

The Azad Kashmir government has approved a 30 percent disparity allowance for government employees. After approval from the government, a notification has also been issued.

According to the notification, this allowance will be applicable from the beginning of the current financial year, and employees will be given a disparity allowance of 30 percent on their basic salary from July 1.

It should be noted that the salaries of government employees were increased by 10 to 12 percent in the current fiscal year budget of the federal and provincial governments.

Later, Balochistan, Punjab, and other provinces announced ad hoc relief allowances in proportion to the basic salaries of government employees of different grades.

As well, the government of Azad Kashmir has also approved a 30 percent disparity allowance for its government employees.
