How to Check Your Eligibility

Method 1: SMS
Type your 13-digit CNIC (no dashes).
Send it to 8171.
You will get a reply:

• Payment ready

• Under review

• Not eligible

This is the fastest way and doesn’t need internet.

Method 2: Online Portal
Go to the BISP 8171 web portal.
Enter your CNIC and the captcha code.
Click on “Check Status” to see your result.
