Buying Property? Now Verify Any Plot in Pakistan Online to Prevent Property Fraud – Instantly

ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has developed a modern online system aimed at curbing fraud in the property and housing sector across the country. The initiative is designed to promote transparency in real estate transactions and safeguard citizens from deception.

According to NAB officials, the Chairman of NAB will soon inaugurate the newly developed system. Once launched, the platform will provide a centralized digital record of plots nationwide. Users will be able to verify any plot simply by entering its number, gaining access to its legal status, NOC (No Objection Certificate), approved maps, ownership details, and verified reports. These verified details will be usable as legal documents during property transactions.

The bureau stated that the digital portal will include complete property records from all over Pakistan. The system is intended not only to protect the public from scams but also to eliminate severe offenses such as overselling in housing schemes, the circulation of fake files, and the sale and purchase of illegal land.

NAB emphasized that this digital step marks a significant move toward transparency and accountability in the country’s real estate sector.
