Who is Trevor Magallanes? Actress Rufa Mae Quinto Ex-Husband Passed Away

While no official announcement has been made regarding the cause or circumstances of the death, actress Rufa Mae Quinto recently posted a heartfelt tribute on Instagram. She shared a series of family photos, prompting an outpouring of sympathy from fellow celebrities and fans.

Friends and colleagues in the entertainment industry expressed their condolences in the comments section of Quinto’s post.

Divorce Announcement in 2024

Quinto’s late husband, Trevor Magallanes, a financial analyst and former US Air Force officer, had previously confirmed via Instagram in December 2024 that the couple was in the process of getting a divorce.

“Hey guys, I felt like I need to explain myself based on social media and all that. I want to make myself clear that Rufa Mae and I are in the process of a divorce,” Magallanes shared at the time.

“You may be aware that divorce can be very devastating to the children but also to the parents. That said, my marriage has been a shit show and I am sorry for that,” he added.

“All that matters to me at this time is getting through the divorce as best as I can and spending time with Athena. Happy holidays!”

A Relationship That Began in 2016

Quinto and Magallanes met in 2016 during one of her visits to the US. They got married on November 25 the same year in Quezon City. Their daughter, Athena, was born on February 18, 2017.

Since their separation, Quinto has returned to the Philippines and resumed her showbiz career.
