Arrest Warrants Issued for Dr. Arif Alvi and 49 Other Top PTI Leaders
Islamabad’s Anti-Terrorism Court has issued arrest warrants for 50 key leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
The action was taken during a hearing of a case registered at the Karachi Company police station, presided over by ATC Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain.
Among those for whom arrest warrants have been issued are Former President Dr. Arif Alvi, Aleema Khanum, Hammad Azhar, Sheikh Waqas Akram, Shandana Gulzar, Kanwal Shauzab, Sher Afzal Marwat, Faisal Javed, Shibli Faraz, Mishal Yousafzai, Seemabia Tahir, Nadia Khattak, Abdul Qayyum Niazi, Afaq Alvi, and Umar Tanveer Butt.
Other individuals include Salman Akram Raja, Rauf Hassan, Murad Saeed, Zulfi Bukhari, Raja Basharat, Ahmad Khan Niazi, Sardar Mansoor Saleem, Colonel (R) Shabbir Awan, Saddam Tareen, Rashid Hafeez, Khadija Shah, Aliya Hamza, Umair Niazi, Pir Noorul Haq Qadri, and Khurram Sher Zaman.
Additionally, arrest warrants have been issued for Asad Qaiser, Umar Amin Gandapur, Atif Khan, Shahram Tarakai, Omar Ayub, Zartaj Gul, Junaid Akbar, Jamshed Dasti, Azam Swati, Hamid Raza, Mian Aslam Iqbal, Salar Khan Kakar, Sohail Afridi, Ajmal Sabir, Dr. Nisar Jatt, Shoaib Shaheen, Syed Ali Bukhari, and Abdul Latif Chitrali.
