Islamabad – Iranian President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian addressed the Pakistan-Iran Business Forum during his official visit, emphasizing the importance of strong ties between the two neighboring nations.
He said that good relations with Pakistan are a key part of Iran’s foreign policy, and described Pakistan as his second home. The Iranian President called for stronger bilateral cooperation in political, economic, and cultural sectors, highlighting shared values between the two countries.
Dr. Pezeshkian stressed the importance of the recent exchange of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) between Pakistan and Iran, describing them as an important step toward long-term cooperation.
“We are committed to maintaining and strengthening our ties with Pakistan,” the Iranian President said, adding that the two nations share deep bonds based on common culture and religion.
He also reiterated Iran’s ambition to increase bilateral trade to $10 billion, calling it a shared goal that would benefit both countries.
