BISP August 2025 Registration: What You Need to Know

The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) has reopened registration for millions of low-income families across Pakistan, with the August 2025 drive now officially active. Many are asking, “Can I apply for BISP this month?” — and the answer is yes.

This new phase comes with notable changes, including updates to eligibility rules, a fresh round of the National Socio-Economic Registry (NSER) survey, and opportunities for previously disqualified applicants to reapply. Special attention is being given to households missed in earlier surveys, those affected by PMT score changes, and residents of newly assessed areas.

BISP, a federal initiative supporting vulnerable families—especially women—offers monthly financial aid, educational stipends under the Benazir Taleemi Wazaif scheme, and other welfare benefits. To qualify in 2025, applicants must have a PMT score below 32, hold a valid CNIC, and meet income and property criteria. Priority groups include widows, female-headed households, families with disabled members, and unemployed parents.

Registration is available through BISP Tehsil Offices, mobile NSER vans for remote areas, and an SMS eligibility check by sending a CNIC number to 8171. Applicants must provide their CNIC, children’s B-Forms (if applicable), and other basic documents for verification.

The August 2025 drive introduces tablet-based registration, SMS progress updates, and re-evaluation for rejected cases. Officials urge applicants to register early, keep documents updated, and ensure accurate information during the survey to avoid delays in approval and payment processing.
