Uraan Pakistan is a Plan for Sustainable National Development: Ahsan Iqbal

Narowal: Federal Minister for Planning and Development, Ahsan Iqbal, spoke at a local event and highlighted the importance of all sectors in the sustainable development of Pakistan. He said that the “Uraan Pakistan” project is aimed at achieving long-term progress for the country.

Ahsan Iqbal emphasized that agriculture is the backbone of Pakistan’s economy. He mentioned that Pakistan is among the top countries in the world in milk production. However, there is a need to improve value addition in both agriculture and livestock sectors.

To increase national exports, he said that the country must focus on raising its production levels. He urged provincial governments to give special attention to the development of agriculture and livestock.

The minister also announced that veterinary staff have been provided with motorcycles to help them reach farmers more easily. He highlighted the important role of veterinary workers in animal care and said they can offer valuable guidance to farmers.

Ahsan Iqbal concluded by saying that with strong planning and collaboration, Pakistan can achieve sustainable growth in all key sectors.
