Who is Chris Chan? Popular Youtuber arrested in Virginia on incest charge

VIRGINIA, Monday: Christine Chandler, better known online as Chris Chan, has been arrested in Virginia on a charge of incest. The 39-year-old internet personality is known for creating the comic book character Sonichu.

The Greene County Sheriff’s Office said Chandler was taken into custody after authorities received information about alleged sex crimes involving a family member. She was first held at Henrico Regional Jail West Facility before being moved to Greene County custody.

Shocking Allegations
Reports say a nine-minute voice conversation on Discord between Chandler and another person was leaked online. In it, Chandler allegedly claimed to have a sexual relationship with her 79-year-old mother. The clip spread quickly across social media.

Online Reaction
Hours before her arrest, Chandler tweeted: “Each and every one of you all are encouraged to withdraw from any and all dramas, gossip, rumors, and whatever else will, and already has, approached your way today.”

A video posted on the platform Odysee by Killstream host Ethan Ralph appeared to show police arresting Chandler at the Regency Inn in Richmond.

Arrest Footage
In the video, Chandler can be heard saying: “I am compliant, I am good like this. I am Chris Chan Sonichu, your Goddess Blue Heart… I maintain everything with my CWCville, Sonichu and Rosechu and everybody.”

Chandler has thousands of followers on YouTube, Twitter, and other platforms. The case has drawn massive online attention, with many discussing the disturbing nature of the allegations.
