Tehran– In the wake of the recent devastating floods across northern Pakistan, world leaders are expressing solidarity with the country. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has offered deep condolences over the loss of life and widespread destruction caused by the natural disaster.

According to Iranian media, President Pezeshkian conveyed heartfelt sympathy to the people and government of Pakistan. He expressed sorrow over the tragic loss of lives and property due to the flash floods and landslides that have particularly impacted areas in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

In a strong gesture of regional solidarity, President Pezeshkian also offered humanitarian aid to help alleviate the suffering of those affected by the floods. He affirmed that Iran stands ready to provide assistance to Pakistan in its relief and rehabilitation efforts.

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has also issued an official statement expressing condolences. The Kingdom extended its sympathies to the Pakistani government and citizens, reaffirming the brotherly bond between the two nations.

The Saudi statement emphasized the country’s support during this difficult time, expressing hope for the recovery of affected families and the restoration of normalcy in flood-hit areas.
