Gold Prices Hit Record High as Surge Continues in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan hit record Rs400,000 per tola
Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward momentum on Saturday, reflecting the surge in international markets.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola jumped by Rs 3,600, reaching Rs 367,400, while the rate of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs 3,172 to Rs 314,986. Similarly, 10 grams of 22-karat gold increased by Rs 2,908, settling at Rs 288,747.
In the global market, gold prices also witnessed a sharp rise, with the rate per ounce climbing by $36 to $3,447.
Silver prices followed the same trend both locally and internationally. In Pakistan, the price of 24-karat silver per tola surged by Rs 81 to Rs 4,202, while 10 grams rose by Rs 69, reaching Rs 3,602. On the international front, silver gained $0.81 per ounce, closing at $39.69.
The persistent rise in gold and silver rates highlights the growing pressure from global market trends, affecting local buyers and investors alike.
