Govt announces new prices of petrol and diesel – check new rates

The government has announced new fuel prices for the next two weeks. According to the Finance Division, the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) has been reduced by Rs. 3 per litre, bringing it down to Rs. 269.99 per litre.

However, petrol prices remain unchanged at Rs. 264.61 per litre. Other petroleum products have also seen small cuts. The price of superior kerosene oil has dropped by Rs. 1.46 per litre, now costing Rs. 176.81 per litre.

Similarly, light diesel oil has been reduced by Rs. 2.40 per litre, with the new rate set at Rs. 159.76 per litre.

In the last price adjustment, the government had already given a big relief by cutting diesel prices by Rs. 12.84 per litre, while keeping petrol unchanged.
