PM Youth Loan Scheme 2025: Bigger Loans, Lower Markup, and Faster Approvals

The Government of Pakistan has launched the PM Youth Loan Scheme 2025 to empower young entrepreneurs and reduce unemployment by helping them start or expand their businesses. With enhanced features, this year’s scheme offers higher loan amounts, lower markup rates, and quicker approvals to make it easier for the youth to achieve financial independence.

According to the official announcement, the scheme now provides loans of up to PKR 10 million based on business plans, with interest rates starting from 3% for smaller loans. The age limit has been extended to 45 years (18+ for IT and e-commerce projects), while special quotas of 25% for women and allocations for differently-abled individuals have been reserved. Officials confirmed that loans will be approved and disbursed within 30 days, with a focus on sectors such as IT, e-commerce, and green projects.

Applicants must be Pakistani citizens with a valid CNIC, aged 21–45, with no default history, and must present a business plan for new or existing ventures. Required documents include a CNIC copy, recent photograph, business plan, bank account details, and proof of business for existing setups.

The government has simplified the process through the official portal (pmyp.gov.pk), allowing applicants to create accounts, submit forms, upload documents, and track applications online. The status-check feature enables users to monitor progress using their CNIC and tracking ID.

For support, the government has provided a helpline (051-111-696-111) and an official email, along with WhatsApp assistance. Applicants are encouraged to submit their applications well before the deadline of December 31, 2025, to avoid delays.

Officials highlighted that the PM Youth Loan Scheme 2025 not only provides financial support but also promotes inclusivity, entrepreneurship, and skill development, helping Pakistan’s youth play a stronger role in the country’s economic growth.
