Cement Prices in Pakistan Decline – See Updated Rates by City
Cement prices in several cities across Pakistan saw a slight decrease in the northern region over the past week, while rates in southern cities remained steady, according to data from the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).
In northern cities, the average retail price of a 50-kg cement bag fell to Rs1,391, marking a 0.14% decline compared to the previous week’s average of Rs1,393.
Southern cities, however, reported no change, with the average retail price holding at Rs1,443 per bag.
City-Wise Prices – Northern and Central Regions:
- Islamabad: Rs1,367
- Rawalpindi: Rs1,372
- Gujranwala: Rs1,440
- Sialkot: Rs1,410
- Lahore: Rs1,443
- Faisalabad: Rs1,380
- Sargodha: Rs1,363
- Multan: Rs1,422
- Bahawalpur: Rs1,450
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Peshawar recorded an average price of Rs1,350, while Bannu had the lowest among the listed cities at Rs1,300.
Southern Cities Average Prices:
- Karachi: Rs1,367
- Hyderabad: Rs1,427
- Sukkur: Rs1,465
- Larkana: Rs1,407
- Quetta: Rs1,510
- Khuzdar: Rs1,483
