Demand to Include Cycling in CM Punjab Youth Games 2026

A resolution has been submitted to the Punjab Assembly demanding the inclusion of cycling in the CM Punjab Youth Games 2026. The resolution states that Punjab has immense cycling talent, with skilled cyclists present in schools, colleges and universities across the province.

The resolution calls for transparent cycling trials to be conducted in all divisions and districts of Punjab and demands the immediate inclusion of all track and road cycling events in the Youth Games 2026. It also proposes that cycling be made a permanent part of the Quaid-e-Azam Games as well as national and provincial sporting events.

The resolution states that promoting cycling can help produce new national and international champions from Punjab. It urged the government to trust the abilities of young people and make cycling an integral part of the CM Punjab Youth Games 2026.
