Hajj 2027: Pakistan Sets Schedule for Second Installment Payments
ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced that the second installment of Hajj dues for government-sponsored pilgrims for Hajj 2027 will be accepted from October 5 to October 20.
According to the ministry spokesperson, pilgrims can pay the second installment through the Pak Hajj mobile application or the Digital Hajj Portal.
Pilgrims have been advised to pay the installment within the given deadline. If the dues are not paid by October 20, the Hajj application will be considered cancelled.
In case of cancellation, the amount already deposited will be refunded to the pilgrim’s account.
The ministry has also made it mandatory for pilgrims to upload their medical fitness certificate before submitting the second installment. The certificate can be uploaded through the Pak Hajj app or the Digital Hajj Portal.
The ministry has urged government Hajj pilgrims to complete all required formalities before the deadline to avoid cancellation of their applications.
Hajj 2027 Labour Quota Applications Open
The Ministry of Religious Affairs has also opened its Hajj portal for institutions and privately registered companies seeking to sponsor Hajj 2027 for eligible low-income employees under the labour quota.
According to a ministry spokesperson, organisations can pay the Hajj expenses of eligible employees from their own funds. The facility is available for low-income workers, industrial labourers, miners and other workers who meet the eligibility criteria.
All applications must be submitted online through the ministry’s designated Hajj portal. Companies and institutions must first register an account and then provide the required information about the employees they want to sponsor.
The ministry said Hajj payments under the scheme must be made directly from the bank account of the sponsoring company or institution.
Applications for the Hajj 2027 labour quota will remain open until October 10 and will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
