PPP Chairman Condemns PTI Supporters’ Assault on Journalists Outside Adiala Jail

Lahore – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Monday strongly condemned the attack on journalists by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers outside Adiala Jail.

In a statement, Bilawal expressed deep concern over the assault on senior journalist Tayyab Baloch and said such actions by PTI supporters are “unacceptable and intolerable.”

“Violence of this kind undermines the very foundation of free press,” Bilawal said, adding that freedom of journalism is essential for a democratic society.

The PPP chairman reiterated that his party has always raised its voice for journalists’ rights and freedom of expression, and will continue to support independent media in Pakistan.
