Florida TikToker Meghan R. Pagano Accused of Stealing Medical Identity for Botox and Fillers

09 September, 2025 12:28

On September 1, 2025, authorities arrested Meghan R. Pagano, a 38-year-old TikToker from Jensen Beach, Florida. She is accused of stealing a medical professional’s identity to perform unlicensed cosmetic procedures, including Botox and fillers, at her clinic, Treasure Coast Aesthetic & Wellness Center in Stuart.

How the Investigation Began

The case started in April 2025, when a licensed medical professional contacted the Florida Department of Health (DOH) claiming her identity and credentials were being stolen. She said someone was impersonating her on social media and running a cosmetic clinic under her name.

The DOH linked the clinic to Meghan Pagano and reported the findings to Martin County Sheriff’s Office.

Undercover Operation

An undercover health department investigator visited the clinic weeks later. Pagano allegedly introduced herself as a certified nurse practitioner and claimed she could perform Botox injections. She even gave the investigator a tour of the facility, showing services such as facials, tattoo removal, and hormone treatments.

Court records later confirmed Pagano only held a license as an electrologist, allowing her to perform laser hair removal. She also had a license to provide basic skincare, like facials and scalp treatments with oils. However, she did not have credentials to practice nursing, massage therapy, or cosmetic injections.

Social Media Presence

Pagano promoted her business heavily on TikTok, where she had more than 9,900 followers. Her account linked directly to her clinic’s website. Videos showed her performing procedures such as plasma-fibroblast skin tightening and even a bloody cyst removal.

She also allegedly ran an Instagram account under the victim’s name, posting more than 120 photos of her performing cosmetic procedures she was not qualified to do.

Complaints and Arrest

In July, another complaint was filed against Pagano, showing more evidence of her unlicensed practices. Following the investigation, she was arrested on September 1 and booked into Martin County Jail.

Pagano pleaded not guilty and was released on a $20,000 bond.

What Authorities Say

Officials confirmed Pagano was never qualified to administer Botox, fillers, or medical treatments she advertised. Social media accounts linked to her clinic have since been taken down.

The investigation is ongoing as authorities review how long she may have been practicing without proper credentials.
