On the solemn occasion of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s 77th death anniversary, Pakistan stands united in honoring the legacy of the nation’s founder, whose vision gave the country its identity, autonomy, and freedom to shape its own destiny.

Leaders and citizens across the country paid tribute to the Father of the Nation, reaffirming their dedication to the democratic, just, and tolerant Pakistan that he envisioned.

President Remembers Quaid-e-Azam’s Enduring Legacy

President Asif Ali Zardari delivered a heartfelt tribute, emphasizing the lasting importance of Quaid-e-Azam’s leadership. He highlighted that Jinnah’s vision continues to serve as the guiding light for Pakistan. “Quaid-e-Azam gave the nation its identity, autonomy, and freedom,” said President Zardari, underscoring the ongoing relevance of the two-nation theory, especially considering the treatment of minorities in India.

The President urged the nation to uphold the ideals embodied by the Quaid, including democracy, justice, equality, and tolerance. He stressed the need to empower youth, create opportunities for women, and protect minority rights.

Looking ahead, President Zardari called for a future built on democracy and the rule of law. “A bright future is only possible when we adhere to the principles of democracy and the rule of law,” he stated, reaffirming that Quaid-e-Azam’s teachings remain a beacon of hope and guidance for Pakistan’s progress.

PM Calls for National Unity to Realize Quaid’s Vision

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also paid homage to Quaid-e-Azam’s extraordinary leadership and selfless struggle for Pakistan’s creation. He praised Jinnah’s visionary statesmanship, which led to the establishment of Pakistan as the world’s first Islamic ideological state.

“Quaid-e-Azam’s struggle resulted in Pakistan, founded to safeguard the political, religious, economic, and cultural rights of Muslims,” the Prime Minister stated. He acknowledged the immense challenges faced during partition—mass migration, resource shortages, and administrative difficulties—yet highlighted how Quaid-e-Azam laid the foundation of a strong and resilient nation.

PM Sharif urged the people of Pakistan to renew their commitment to Jinnah’s principles of democracy, justice, and minority protection. He called for collective national efforts to build a developed and prosperous Pakistan true to the Quaid’s vision.

CM Sindh Pays Homage at Quaid’s Mausoleum

“The country can only achieve development and stability by following the principles of Quaid-e-Azam,” said CM Shah. He emphasized that the youth, through dedication and hard work, must carry forward the Quaid’s dream.

Chief Minister Shah highlighted the crucial role of unity, faith, and sacrifice in realizing Quaid-e-Azam’s vision of a strong and prosperous Pakistan.
