Triple murder in Karachi: Three women slain in Bhittaiabad
A shocking tragedy took place in Karachi’s Bhittaiabad area, where three women were brutally murdered inside a house. Their throats were slit with a sharp weapon. A young girl and a man were also injured in the attack and rushed to the hospital.
Police said the crime happened within the limits of Malir Cantt Police Station. The deceased women have been identified as Meena, Dania, and Aashi. The injured girl is named Nandini, while the injured man has been identified as Ajay, who is reportedly the uncle of the murdered women.
Investigators suspect Ajay may have attacked the women with a sharp weapon, though the case is still under investigation. Police have also suggested that the killings might be linked to a domestic dispute or personal enmity.
Later, another injured woman, Priya, who is a neighbor, came forward. She said she rushed into the house after hearing screams but was also attacked, allegedly by Ajay.
The crime scene unit has collected evidence from the site, while the police continue their investigation.
Meanwhile, Sindh Home Minister Zia Hassan Lanjar has taken notice of the brutal killings and injuries. He has asked SSP Malir for a detailed report on the incident.
