Pakistan Strongly Condemns Israel’s Attack on Qatar

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan has strongly condemned Israel’s recent attack on Qatar, calling it a clear violation of international law. The Foreign Office said Pakistan rejects Israel’s aggression in the strongest terms.

Foreign Office spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan said that Prime Minister of Pakistan has called on the Muslim world to unite against Israel’s actions. He also confirmed that the Prime Minister made an urgent visit to Doha to show support for the Qatari leadership.

“The people of Pakistan stand with the brotherly nation of Qatar in this difficult time,” the spokesperson said.

He added that Pakistan and Qatar have always supported each other in challenging times. The Prime Minister assured Qatar of Pakistan’s full support.

Pakistan and Somalia have also asked the UN Security Council to hold an emergency meeting about the growing crisis. The meeting will focus on Israel’s recent actions.

Pakistan also condemned Israel’s attacks in Gaza. The spokesperson said that Pakistan supports a solution to the Palestine conflict based on UN resolutions. He added that Israel’s attack on Qatar — a country helping in peace talks — is an attempt to block progress toward peace.

The spokesperson also spoke about regional diplomacy. He said the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan recently visited Pakistan. Both countries agreed to strengthen ties and work together in various areas.
