Honda Slashes Motorcycle and Scooter Prices by Up to Rs18,887
Honda has announced a major price cut across its lineup of motorcycles and scooters in India, with reductions reaching up to Rs18,887.
The decision comes after the Indian government lowered the GST on two-wheelers under 350cc from 28 percent to 18 percent. Honda has passed the full benefit of this tax relief directly to customers, making its range more affordable.
Scooter Price Cuts
Among scooters, the Honda Activa 110 is now cheaper by up to Rs7,874, while the Honda Dio 110 sees a reduction of up to Rs7,157. The Activa 125 and Dio 125 have also been discounted, by up to Rs8,259 and Rs8,042, respectively.
Motorcycle Reductions
In the commuter segment, the Shine 100 is reduced by up to Rs5,672, while the Shine 100 DX is down by Rs6,256. The Honda Livo 110 gets a price cut of up to Rs7,165, and the Shine 125 by Rs7,443. The SP125 is lowered by up to Rs8,447, while the CB125 Hornet drops by Rs9,229.
In the mid-range category, the Honda Unicorn has been reduced by up to Rs9,948, the SP160 by Rs10,635, the Hornet 2.0 by Rs13,026, and the NX200 by Rs13,978.
Premium Segment Cuts
The premium 350cc lineup also sees significant reductions, with the CB350 H’ness lowered by Rs18,598, the CB350RS by Rs18,857, and the CB350 leading with a price cut of Rs18,887.
These revised prices are now effective at Honda dealerships across India and are expected to increase sales, particularly in the entry-level and mid-range markets.
