President Zardari Returns After Successful 10-Day Visit to China
President Asif Ali Zardari has returned to Pakistan following a successful 10-day visit to China, during which multiple Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were signed.
During his trip, the President visited Chengdu, Shanghai, Urumqi, and Kashgar, where he held meetings with provincial leadership. The discussions centered on strengthening Pakistan-China relations, the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), and the development of future trade and connectivity corridors.
Key meetings also addressed issues of regional peace, development, and cooperation. The visit is being seen as a reaffirmation of the deep-rooted Pakistan-China strategic partnership.
It is widely recognized that “Pakistan-China friendship is deeper than the ocean and sweeter than honey,” a bond that has consistently stood the test of time despite criticism from detractors. The enduring relationship between the two countries continues to be acknowledged at the global level as an example of long-lasting diplomatic and economic cooperation.
