Gold Prices Remain Stable Across Pakistan on 2nd Business Day
Karachi, 26 September 2025: The price of gold dropped in Pakistan on Thursday after a decline was seen in the international market.

According to the Sarafa Dealers Association, the local gold market recorded a decrease of Rs. 1,000 per tola. With this change, the rate of 24-karat gold per tola is now Rs. 395,800.
At the same time, the price of 10 grams of gold went down by Rs. 858, reaching Rs. 339,334. Dealers said the new rates reflect the direct impact of global trends.
Gold Price in International Market
In the international market, the price of gold per ounce fell by 10 dollars, now standing at 3,740 dollars. Experts believe this slight fall came due to profit-taking by investors after weeks of steady highs.
Local Market Reaction
Traders in Karachi and other major cities said the reduction has brought some relief for buyers, especially those planning for weddings and investments. However, many still find the current rate too high compared to earlier years.
Dealers also noted that global uncertainty, currency fluctuations, and international demand continue to drive local prices.
