Gold price per tola rises by Rs1,900 in Pakistan - check new rates
Gold prices in Pakistan went up again on Saturday, following the trend in the international market.
In the local market, the price of one tola gold rose by Rs1,900, reaching Rs397,700, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA). The price of 10 grams of gold also increased by Rs1,629, making it Rs340,963.
Just a day earlier, on Friday, gold had slipped by Rs1,000 per tola, settling at Rs395,800.
In the international market, gold also saw a jump. The rate climbed by $19, reaching $3,759 per ounce (including a $20 premium), as per APGJSA.
Silver prices in Pakistan also rose on Saturday, with the rate of one tola silver going up by Rs105 to Rs4,704.
