Realme GT 8 Pro to launch in October with big battery – check details

Realme is getting ready to launch its GT 8 series in October, which will include the GT 8 Pro and the standard GT 8. Ahead of the launch, the GT 8 Pro has already passed certification in China, confirming support for 120W fast charging.

The phone will also support wireless charging and come with a large battery. While earlier leaks suggested an 8,000 mAh battery, new reports point to around 7,000 mAh, which is still massive compared to most flagship devices.

Fans will be happy to know that the 120W charging speed remains unchanged from the previous model, despite earlier rumors that it might be reduced to 100W.

Inside, the GT 8 Pro will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The camera setup could include a 200MP periscope telephoto lens, making it a strong option for photography lovers. On the front, the phone will feature a 6.78-inch QHD display with a 144 Hz refresh rate, along with up to 16 GB RAM for smooth performance.

The device will launch with Android 16 and Realme UI 7. With its powerful hardware and long battery life, Realme is clearly aiming to deliver a flagship phone that balances performance, photography, and endurance.
