Weather Alert: Met Office Predicts More Rainfall in Sindh
KARACHI: The Meteorological Department has predicted further rainfall in different areas of Sindh from today till October 3.
According to the department, most parts of the country are likely to remain hot and dry. In southeastern Sindh, however, the weather will be partly cloudy with chances of rain accompanied by strong winds and thunderstorms at a few locations.
In Islamabad, the weather will remain hot and dry. Similar conditions have been forecast for most districts of Punjab and Balochistan.
Partly cloudy weather is expected in Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur, and Rahim Yar Khan. Meanwhile, Umerkot, Tharparkar, Badin, Sanghar, Mithi, Mirpur Khas, Tando Allahyar, Tando Muhammad Khan, Khairpur, Jamshoro, Hyderabad, Karachi, Sujawal, and Thatta are likely to receive rain with thunderstorms at a few places.
Heavy rain with strong winds was reported in Tando Allahyar city and nearby areas, disrupting power supply. Sanghar also witnessed late-night rain with strong winds, while Sujawal, Matli, Tando Adam, and Tando Muhammad Khan received heavy rainfall.
