How Far Is 'Shakti' Cyclone From Karachi? Met Office Issues Alert
The “Shakti” cyclone is present in the eastern Arabian Sea, according to the Meteorological Department.
The “Shakti” cyclone is located 480 kilometers southwest of Karachi and is moving in a west-southwest direction.
There are currently no chances of rain in Karachi, while light rain is expected in Badin, Thatta, Sujawal, Hub, Lasbela, and other areas.
The Meteorological Department says the storm “Shakti” is likely to reach the northwestern Arabian Sea today and may weaken by turning east-northeast within 24 hours.
The Meteorological Department has advised fishermen to remain cautious.
