When is winter season expected in Pakistan? PMD announces date

LAHORE: The Meteorological Department has shared an important update about the arrival of winter, saying that weather conditions across Punjab, including Lahore, are beginning to change.

Mornings and nights have turned cooler, while afternoons still remain warm and sunny. The recent spell of rain has helped bring a noticeable drop in temperature and made the weather more pleasant.

According to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), there is no chance of rain at the moment. However, light showers expected near the end of October are likely to mark the end of summer and the beginning of the winter season.
