Karachi Weather to Remain Dry and Hot with Nighttime Temperature Drop
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Sunday forecasted that Karachi’s weather will stay dry and hot over the next 24 hours, with temperatures expected to decline during the night.
In its advisory, the Met Office highlighted a shift in Karachi’s weather patterns, noting that winds have changed direction and are now blowing from the northeast.
Karachi, which has experienced cooler nights in recent days, is entering the pre-winter weather phase, the PMD stated. Meteorologists recorded a minimum temperature of 24.3 degrees Celsius today, with daytime temperatures predicted to reach up to 35 degrees Celsius.
The humidity level was also reported at 78%.
Weather experts further noted that the chances of rainfall in October and November are minimal, and there is no expectation of heavy downpours in Karachi during this period.
Earlier this month, on October 6, several parts of Karachi witnessed rainfall, which brought a pleasant change and relief from the city’s hot conditions. Heavy showers were recorded in areas including Buffer Zone, Baldia Town, North Karachi, and Nazimabad, followed by a cool, refreshing breeze that residents welcomed.
