Field Marshal Asim Munir Warns India: “No Space for War in a Nuclear Environment”
Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff, addressed the passing-out parade at PMA Kakul on Saturday. He congratulated the cadets of the 152nd PMA Long Course and expressed pride in their hard work and dedication. He said it was an honour to review the parade and witness the commitment of young officers who will safeguard Pakistan’s future.
Tribute to Martyrs and National Heroes
In his speech, he paid heartfelt tribute to the martyrs of Pakistan and their families. He said the nation is forever grateful to those who sacrificed their lives for the country. He also praised scholars, scientists, media workers, and national leaders who contribute to Pakistan’s strength. He urged everyone to live in a way that honours the memory of the martyrs.
Pakistan’s Resolve Against Threats
Field Marshal Asim Munir highlighted Pakistan’s courage in facing internal and external challenges. He stated that the armed forces proved their strength in critical operations and battles, including Operation Bunyad and multi-domain warfare. He warned that any attempt to undermine Pakistan’s security will receive a decisive and strong response.
Warning to India on Nuclear Environment
He delivered a clear message to India, reminding that in a nuclear environment, there is no room for war. He urged India to resolve issues with Pakistan based on equality and mutual respect. He warned that any provocation will be met with a stronger reaction, beyond expectations. He recalled how Pakistan shot down hostile jets and destroyed key enemy systems in the past.
Support for Kashmir and Palestine
Field Marshal Munir raised concern over the suffering of Kashmiris under Indian oppression. He questioned how long they will be denied their right to self-determination. He also condemned Israeli aggression in Palestine, acknowledging the thousands of innocent women, children, and elders who have been killed. He assured Pakistan’s continued political and moral support for both causes.
Regional Peace and Global Relations
He spoke about Pakistan’s growing regional role and stronger ties with global powers. He expressed pride in strategic partnership with China and defence cooperation with Saudi Arabia. He welcomed the reactivation of relations with the United States and praised international efforts towards peace. He stressed that Pakistan has played a key role in promoting peace worldwide.
Afghan Soil and Terrorism Concerns
Addressing regional security, he warned against the use of Afghan soil for terrorism inside Pakistan. He said militant proxies must be controlled to ensure peace. He urged Afghan leadership to choose harmony over violence. He assured that Pakistan will defeat every threat just as it has done before, with the support of its people and security forces.

Field Marshal Asim Munir reaffirmed that not even an inch of Pakistan’s land will be handed to the enemy. He saluted the resilience and courage of the Pakistani people. He described the armed forces as the core strength of the nation and called on the youth to remain loyal, disciplined, and proud.
