How to Block Unwanted WhatsApp Group Admins: A Step-by-Step Guide
Currently, WhatsApp does not offer the option to block an entire group. However, users can leave the group and block specific admins to avoid unwanted interactions. Additionally, there is an option to report groups if necessary. For detailed guidance, users can refer to official WhatsApp resources.
To better manage group invitations, WhatsApp allows users to adjust their group privacy settings, controlling who can add them to groups.
Blocking an Admin Not Saved in Your Contacts:
Open the WhatsApp group chat and tap the group subject at the top. Under Group Info, select the admin you wish to block. Then, tap “Block {phone number}” followed by “Block” to confirm.
Blocking an Admin Saved in Your Contacts:
Navigate to Settings (gear icon) > Privacy > Blocked Contacts. Tap “Add Blocked Contact,” enter the contact’s name, and select the name to block the contact.
These steps enable users to better manage their WhatsApp group experiences by limiting interactions with unwanted admins.
